Hank Williams III

EDIT: Not sure how to put this back in the previous section? Backdate it?

Showed this blog to a friend (Matt Paradigm) a few weeks ago and in response to the Rock n' Roll excess challenge he sketched Hank Williams III (country excess?) in my sketchbook. I inked it a few days ago and scanned it today.

Not sure if that is breaking the rules but oh well.

Thanks for all the painting tips!!!

  1. Don't worry about that back dating, we like to keep it fresh and up front...as far as breaking the rules? they are no real rules except sketches only! Hank III is definitely excessive and one of the best shows I've ever seen.

  2. HANK III YES! He kicks his dad's ass...and sound more like his granddad. Now have you heard him with the Melvin's or Tomahawk (Patton) which are friends with him.

  5. Well it is not Tomahawk and them...but the drummer from helmet is in tomahawk and the guitarist from helmet performs with Hank III so kind of. But anyway it is on that Melvin's three album set...The Trilogy...That track is on The Crybaby CD along with Ramblin Man cover....and a Mike Patton Melvins song along with the famous melvins cover of smells like teen spirit.
