Round 17: Monkeys in Masks

  Happy (belated) Halloween! This was part of the series of drawings I did for Inktober, which is a daily ink exercise in the month of October.
  The story goes, that if you visit Indonesia as a tourist, you may be approached by monkeys wearing kid's clothes and doll masks begging for money.  The problem is so bad that the government offers roughly 100 bucks for each monkey trainer turned in.  Seemed like the perfect topic for Inktober!

Hoping to make this a stencil soon. I vectorized an image of Asia Argento but I traced the paths by hand. No live trace here.

Hope no one is upset by the vector art. Just trying out some new things and trying to get faster with the pen tool. Not technically a sketch . . . but I thought it fit with the theme.

This is a rough robot I plan on adding some color to at some point. Also a flashback to an earlier round with Mary Prankster. I don't know if Mary makes the best poster child for excess but her big breakthrough hit was called "Tits and Whiskey".

Dr Sketchy Pinup

Keeping it loose here. Hope nobody minds me crossposting. This is a sketch done the other night @ Dr. Sketchy's Los Angeles branch. I have to thank Ben for getting me into Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School. My figure drawing has definitely improved since going and it is a lot more fun than AFO!
