This thing has been in a half-completed state in my sketchbook for a long time now. In the spirit of the blog, I just said screw it and scribbled a few more lines so here it is, Surprise Round 1 vs Surprise Round 2:

This was what I thought was a good idea but it went terribly, terribly wrong. I can't look at it anymore. Blargh. Very WIP, but this is supposed to be a sketch blog right?

Cable is an old man mutant from the future...

I did the initial sketch at work with no reference which is why he has two mechanical arms instead of just one… But whatever.

SUPRISE ROUND TWO: CABLE!

Raised in a post apocalyptic mutant future, Cable the angsty, destiny riddled, cyborg telekinetic mutant son of Cyclops comes back in time armed to the teeth for adventures filled with even more destiny!

Like being our next round til the official one appears from the west!
