Happy new year!!
Watched "The Last Circus" over the holidaze and it was probably the best movie I saw out of the half dozen or so movies I watched during vacation. The ultimate "clowns after midnight" movie. Not for the faint however.

Not too happy with the proportions but charcoal is fun on recycled rough sketch paper. Why does it have to be so hard to sharpen charcoal pencils?

Clowns after midnight
I thought this would be better than the other topic I posted.

Inspiration taken from another forum:

I was inspired ... after being reminded of a quote by the great silent and horror film actor Lon Chaney. He was asked by a reporter what he thought was really scary. Chaney's response was "There is nothing on earth more frightening than a clown after midnight."
What do you guys think?

Actually, what I said is,
A clown is funny in the circus ring. But what would be the normal reaction to opening a door at midnight and finding the same clown standing there? A clown in the moonlight is not funny.
